This year 2011 ,Terry has embarked on a new project during the winter of carving  wood masks of animals and portrait styles. Starting with these  6 new ones he has made plaster moulds from them and hand presses stoneware clay into them resulting  in a faithful reproduction of the wood and carving surface. He is experimenting with different surface treatments that give each a different character and feel. Some are solid colour underglazes ,some are underglaze and glaze,and  a beautiful turquoise matte gaze that has feel like stone.He is continually looking to develop interesting glaze.

The larger pieces are done in limited edition as the difficulty working in larger scales
