This vase of fine translucent porcelain tries to depict the glory and majestic ness of the large bird. Eagles are great creatures of the sky realm. Both Golden and Balds ,as we call them ,live in this area. The goldens are so big with these immense wings and darker plumage. The Balds float lazily on the currents and thermals in the canyon below along the river and from time to time soar up above catching a strong updraft. They also soar to incredible heights, barely discernible as a spots way up high. When a Golden flies nearby, everything seems to still and tense for a moment respecting this chief of creatures. Yet with the Ravens these creatures are a part of the cleanup crew, cleaning up deer carcasses left by the side of the highway. They can be gorged and full ,standing by the road, hopefully not leaping into the air before you
